GREAT BALLS OF FIRE!
Our history work this term has had us
relive the Great Fire of London in the
Great Playground of Highbury! Leading
up to this roaring event we studied the
events leading up to the fire and with
the help of parents and grandparents,
we built Tudor styled houses that we
had designed ready to watch how
quickly and easily the fire would have
spread though the narrow streets.
FAITHS AND BELIEFS
This term we have had a visit from
Reverend Myles to share with us the
Easter story with a great play for the
boys to act out. We must also say thank
you to Mrs Schweiger who came in and
gave all year two boys a very exciting
talk about the meaning of Passover for
those who follow the Jewish faith. We are
learning about different religions and
how they celebrate their faith as a
community and the celebrations they
share.
MOSI
The boys had a great adventure
at the Museum of Science and
Industry in the last week of
term, reinforcing all their learn-
ing from this term, with much
discovery in the Forces and
Flight and Circuit City work-
shops. The boys engaged in lots
of discussion on the journey
home about which workshop
they liked the best!
