Reading and Writing is fun!
World Book Day saw a huge range of characters turning up to school. We had everyone including a
Just William, a Dirty Bertie, several Harry Potters, Gandalf and Tom Riddle not to mention the
Wimpy Kid and a very generous Willie Wonka who gave us all sweets!!

What a great morning we had with Tom! He told us all about learning to read as a child and how he
gets his inspiration from all sorts of places including magazines and foreign countries. We answered
questions in his quiz and Hal became the Year 3 Rugby Reading champion.

tales with a twist, fables
and Greek myths, when we
created some great new
characters to terrify the
world!
