Year 6
This term we have studied Rainforests, with a particular focus on the
Amazon Rainforest.
We have learned all about the ecosystem, climate, flora and fauna,
deforestation and the impact the rainforests have of the entire world.
It was fascinating to discover the number of items in our homes that
originated from the rainforests.
Let’s Go Fly A Kite.......
As part of the celebrations for Chinese
New Year, Year 6 worked along side the
Year 1 and Year 2 boys to build kites. To
assist the younger boys, we created
detailed picture books to aid in building
the kites. It was a tricky task! To round off
a the afternoon we then had some fun
flying them on Bell Field.
