YEAR 2
Pizza Express Trip
As part of our Healthy Eating topic in Science, we walked to Pizza Express in Hale to learn about pizza making, as well as
finding out more about healthy food choices in our daily diets... and on our pizzas! The boys also experienced rolling out
and spinning the pizza dough and covering each other in flour! The best bit though was making their own pizzas to take
home for dinner. Delicious!
Christmas!
In the run up to
Christmas, we have
been very busy feeling
festive. From making
decorations for the
Church with the help of
our fantastic Year 2
parents, to making
cards, calendars,
wrapping paper, as well
as baking and
decorating our own
Christmas cakes as part
of our Maths and
Science lessons. Great
fun!
The Skipathon
In November we took part
in a timed skip to raise
money for the British
Heart Foundation. The
boys’ brilliant skipping
earned over £600 in
sponsorship. Thank you!
As part of our
History
work on the World Wars
we visited St. Mary’s
Church to look at historical
artefacts and hear stories
about the lives of soldiers.
It was a fascinating and
very informative trip.
And so much more! Aliens,
pirates, a Dunham trip,
Robin Hood at the theatre
and lots and lots of
learning and fun!
