YEAR 1
The boys on Year 1 have been very busy this term. They have all settled down beautifully to
their new classes and have had a super term. Here are some of our highlights. Learning
about our Senses and we loved finding out about our sense of taste.
We love food!
Kiddy Cook came into school to help
us learn about our taste buds. We
can see our taste buds if you put
blue food colouring on your tongue!
Did you know that if you
hold your nose it is harder to
taste something?
We tasted all sorts of things–
salty, sour, sweet, bitter and
we were very brave!
We made a delicious salad and took it home to eat!
