What a fantastic day to end our activities at the chateau. After a lunch which celebrated Eavan's birthday, we headed out on our final activities - assault course, climbing wall, aeroball, archery and bread making.
This evening we ventured off site for dinner in a local creperie - a lovely way to end our holiday.
Thursday 12.00
The sun is shining and it has been another busy morning here at the chateau. We have been either canoeing, climbing, aeroballing or been getting muddy on the assault course.
Wednesday 9.30
It turned out to be a lovely afternoon. Some of us were on the assault course, some of us canoeing and the rest of us were fencing. This evening we sampled snails for dinner.
Our evening activity was a treasure hunt and now we are getting ready for bed - there are quite a few rather tired boys tonight!!!!
Wednesday 12.00
It has been a little showery this morning but that hasn't stopped us! We have canoed, been fencing and bread making this morning and are just about to have lunch.
Tuesday 9:25pm
A busy day in Arromanches. First stop was the 360 degree cinema followed by a picnic lunch on the cliff top. The afternoon saw the boys using their French in the shops in Arromanches then we visited the war museum. As the tide was out, we ventured on to the beach to take a closer look at the Phoenix blocks which made up the Mulberry Harbour during World War II.
This evening we have participated in sport tournaments and are now thinking about bed!!!
Tuesday 0830 - new video below from a lovely morning in France.
